One-to-one technical mentoring for sustainability professionals.
Work through the decisions with a guide.
Does this sound like you?
- You’re carrying the sustainability role largely on your own.
- You need to deliver the work in-house, with limited resources.
- You’d welcome an experienced second opinion.
- A regular conversation would help you stay focused and follow through.

One 50-minute online session, just you and me.
Technical questions, document feedback and practical next steps. You lead the work; I provide an experienced sounding board to help you test your thinking and decide what to do next.
If you need more time for detailed document review or consultancy, we can agree additional support around your priorities.

MENTORING IN PRACTICE · KAJIMA
Confidence to lead. Plans moving into practice.
Victoria Jones leads sustainability across Kajima’s European real estate business. She produces and owns the documents. I review them, challenge the thinking and work through the feedback with her, considering what senior leaders, asset managers and property teams need from the work.
Our four hours a month combine mentoring with consultancy support. The plans we have worked through are approved and being rolled out, and Victoria has grown more confident in senior discussions. Our focus now includes how the plans are introduced, how progress is monitored and what needs to change as teams use them.

What it’s like to work with me

"Joanna cuts through the overwhelm and focuses on what matters. Her mentoring is practical, supportive and gave me greater confidence in my role."
Victoria Jones
ESG Manager, Kajima Properties (Europe) Limited

"Joanna's motivation and passion for our sustainability industry inspired me to continue on this path and put my all into it. Joanna taught me a lot of what I know about ESG, and she's got a knack of explaining things simply but thoroughly. Joanna's knowledge is extensive and further demonstrates her own interest in the field."
Poppy Seddon
Former direct report

"Joanna is exceptionally structured, with a sharp commercial instinct and an impressive grasp of the ESG reporting landscape (she knows the full alphabet soup, and then some).
But where she really shines is with people. Joanna builds relationships with purpose, quickly spotting the angles that matter and fostering connections that last. Her no-nonsense warmth means she always wears her heart on her sleeve and she can disarm you with the truth. She’s bold, effective, and unapologetically herself."

Supporting someone in your business?
Give your sustainability lead experienced support while they retain ownership of the work. As the Kajima story shows, mentoring can sit alongside agreed consultancy time for document review, technical challenge and planning how to put the work into practice.
How would we work together?
Can we look at my documents?
Yes. We can use screen sharing to work through a draft, discuss your approach and identify where it needs more attention. For detailed review between sessions or additional consultancy work, we’ll agree the scope and time separately.
Will the sessions follow a fixed programme?
We’ll start with your objectives and the support you need, with room for changing priorities and day-to-day questions. We can also take a deeper look at a topic such as water, waste or social value, connecting industry practice with the decisions you face.
How will you help me stay on track?
We’ll agree realistic actions and revisit them at our next session. If something hasn’t moved forward, we’ll talk about what got in the way and what would help.
Where do sessions take place?
All sessions are online and one-to-one. You can join from wherever you work, with your documents and a brew to hand.
